Torchlight II is an action role-playing game developed by Runic Games and published by Runic Games. The game was released on September 20, 2012. It is the follow-up to the first Torchlight game and continues the story set in a fantasy setting.

Torchlight II Gameplay
In this game, you select from four character classes: Engineer, Outlander, Berserker, or Embermage. Each class has its own set of skills and fighting styles. You click on the ground to move and on monsters to attack them. The goal is to finish quests, beat stronger monsters, and find better items. You go through many areas like deserts, snow places, and caves. A pet walks with you that can hold items and go to town to sell them while you keep hunting. You can put gems in weapons and armor to make them stronger. When monsters die, they drop gold and items of different quality shown by color. The game has a big skill tree where you put points each time you go up a level.

The game allows up to six players to play together online. Each area is random, so it looks different each time you play. There are many difficulty levels to pick from. After you finish the main story, you can play the extra New Game Plus mode with more challenging monsters. You can use tools that others have made to change how the game works. Your pet can change forms when it eats fish. There are hidden rooms and secret areas to find while looking around. The game runs well on older computers, too. You can pause the game at any time during play. The town has people who sell items, teach skills, and give quests to do.
