Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is a card-based RPG game developed by CD Projekt RED and published by CD Projekt. The game was released on October 23, 2018. It is a spin-off to the popular Witcher series and tells the story of Queen Meve, ruler of the Northern Realms of Lyria and Rivia.

The game uses a card battle system based on Gwent. You lead Queen Meve’s army through battles shown as card games on a board. Each match has rules and goals that change based on the story part you are in. You move Meve on a map between battles to find resources, meet people, and deal with story events. You must pick how Meve acts and talks in these events. Your army needs gold and wood to stay strong. You pick which soldiers join your group and can build new cards for battle use. Each battle needs a good plan as the computer uses tough tactics against you.

The game has about 30 hours of story and over 20 maps to travel. It shows the events before The Witcher games with Queen Meve’s fight against the Nilfgaard army. The card battles have more than 250 different cards and many game types beyond normal Gwent rules. The story is told through talks and drawings in a storybook style. There are over 20 main people in the tale, each with full voice acting. As you play, you can also get special cards for the stand-alone Gwent game. The maps have many secret spots with items, gold, and wood to find.

How to Download and Install Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales PC Game?
