NieR:Automata Gameplay
In this game, you control android soldiers 2B, 9S, and A2, who fight for humans against robot armies. The fighting style changes often, moving between hack-and-slash combat, bullet-hell shooting, side-scrolling, and top-down views. You use two weapons simultaneously, like swords, spears, and gauntlets, while your Pod robot helps with ranged attacks. As you play more, you unlock new spots and find out why robots and androids are at war. You must finish the game many times to see the full story, with each run showing new parts of the tale. The game has many difficulty levels, and on easier modes, chips can play the game for you.

The Game of the YoRHa Edition comes with the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC, which adds combat tests and new outfit items. It also includes six pod skins and the Machine Mask item. The game has 26 different endings, though only five are big story ones. You can set up Plug-in Chips to change your android’s abilities, like more attack power or auto-health use. The hacking mini-game turns into a small shooter game where you destroy computer bits. Players can find the bodies of other real players and either fix them to get prizes or take their chips. The story takes place after events in the first NieR game but can be enjoyed without playing that one.
