Metro 2033 Redux Gameplay
Players travel through dark metro tunnels and the frozen ruins of Moscow. Every bullet counts as both ammo and money in the metro stations. Gas masks are needed to survive the toxic air above ground, with filters that must be changed often. Players can use different guns, from simple revolvers to military rifles, and can buy better weapons using bullet money at station shops.
Metro 2033 Redux Features
The Redux version includes improved graphics and lighting from the newer Metro: Last Light engine. Players can pick between two modes: Survival with limited supplies and harder stealth, or Spartan with more action and bullets. The game shows the story through Artyom’s eyes without cutting away to movies. Special items like the lighter help burn spider webs, while the watch shows filter time left. The game includes ranger mode, which removes the HUD and makes both players and enemies die faster. Weather changes affect how well players can see and move in outside areas.
