You play as Tommy Angelo, a normal taxi driver turned mobster in the Salieri family. Through many years, Tommy moves up in the mob ranks, starting with small jobs and working his way to bigger scores. The streets stay busy with people going about their day while you drive old cars, shoot rival gangs, and run jobs for the family. Every hour in Lost Heaven shows different weather and time of day.

The cops notice everything – run a red light, and they’ll chase you down. Old radio tunes play in your car as you cruise around town. You can drive around the city freely between jobs if you want. The people walk and talk like they’re from the 1930s, wearing proper clothes for the time. Even small things catch the cops’ eyes, so you must act smart to stay out of jail.
