Left 4 Dead puts four players together in a battle to survive the zombie attack. Players must work as a team to reach safe houses on each map, fighting through hordes of infected. The game uses an AI system called the “Director” that changes the number and location of enemies and items based on player performance. Players can choose from four survivors: Bill, Francis, Louis, and Zoey, each with unique voice lines but the same abilities. The game includes special infected types like the Hunter, Smoker, Boomer, Tank, and Witch that need specific tactics to defeat.
