Players control Aiden Caldwell, a wanderer with special parkour skills. The game focuses on first-person parkour movement across rooftops, walls, and other surfaces while fighting both humans and zombies. Combat includes both melee weapons that can break and need repairs, and ranged options like bows. Your actions and story options can change how the city looks and works, with different groups taking control of areas.

The Reloaded Edition includes five story DLCs: Bloody Ties, The Gut, Firewalker, Beast, and Seer. It also has weapon packs, skin bundles, and a parkour expansion.
